We are a family-run company with deep roots in the metal trade and a clear specialisation in aluminium. For over five decades, we have stood for reliability, precision and sustainable recycling – and have supported our customers as a strong partner in a complex industry.

The beginnings – pioneering spirit

Founded in 1968 by Gisela and Manfred Krüger in Bielefeld Senne, our journey began with a clear conviction: aluminium deserves to be treated responsibly. In 1977, we moved to the industrial area in Kaunitz, where we continued to expand our metal yard, which now covers an area of around 14,000 m².

The generational change

With the arrival of the next generation – Susanne Bokel (born Krüger) in 1984 and Michael Krüger in 1987 – the foundations for the future were laid. Following the untimely death of Gisela Krüger in 1999, Susanne Bokel took over the management of the company, and since 2003 she has been running it together with her brother Michael Krüger. The company thus remained firmly in family hands – with the same passion and sense of responsibility that had characterised its founders.

Today – Strength through experience and technology

Over the years, we have steadily expanded our company: today, our customers have access to more than 600 containers and skips, which are transported by our own fleet of eight lorries. This enables us to respond flexibly, quickly and reliably at all times – a commitment that has been with us since our foundation.

Jan Krüger joined the company in June 2016 as a representative of the third generation and is responsible for metal sales together with Michael Krüger. Martin Bokel also joined the company in 2021 and coordinates the organisation of yard operations and the loading and unloading of trucks.

On 10 August 2025, our founder Manfred Krüger passed away. With him, we have lost not only the originator of our company, but also a personality who shaped the path of Aluminium Krüger with his vision, drive and humanity. His legacy lives on in our daily work – in the responsibility, reliability and closeness to our customers that he exemplified from the very beginning.

Today, Aluminium Krüger is a family business in which three generations work hand in hand – supported by experience, responsibility and a clear vision of the future.
